We Worthy Women

Our team is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. Our work spans across the territories of the Abegweit Mi’kmaq First Nation, the Wolastoqiyik Peoples, the Beothuk Peoples, the Inuit of Nunatsiavut and NunatuKavut, and the Innu of Nitassinan. We take responsibility for learning the ways that our behaviours, actions, research, and practices affect Indigenous Peoples and land and ensuring that our advocacy is inclusive, holistic, and aimed at dismantling the broader systems that create and perpetuate violence.
